Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Project Dandelion (“Dandelion,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through livedandy.co (the “Site”). It covers the Site and our waitlist. The Live Dandy app will have its own privacy disclosures in the App Store when it launches.

Information we collect

• Waitlist sign‑ups. Your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name, plus the date you joined.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We use your IP address briefly to limit repeated waitlist submissions.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on the Site, and we do not sell your personal information.

How we use it

• To tell you when Live Dandy is available and send occasional product updates.
• To reply to your messages.
• To keep the Site secure and prevent spam.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site — currently Vercel (hosting) and Upstash (waitlist storage) — and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law. If Project Dandelion is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Data retention

We keep waitlist information until Live Dandy launches and for as long as you remain subscribed to updates. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it from our waitlist within 30 days. Rate‑limiting records tied to IP addresses expire automatically after one hour.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or unsubscribe at any time, by emailing hello@livedandy.co. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act; we honor those requests through the same address.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS and access to waitlist data is restricted to our team. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has joined our waitlist, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for material changes we will notify waitlist members by email.
